Murder suspect wanted in Cleveland area arrested in Fayette County – WSAZ-TV

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A most wanted fugitive from the Cleveland area was arrested Thursday in Fayette County, the CUFFED Task Force says.

Gary Lamar Sanders, 36, who was wanted on an aggravated murder charge, was arrested in the Robson area.

According to a release from CUFFED, Sanders was recently aired as a 12 most wanted criminal by the U.S. Marshal’s Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in Cleveland.

Investigators say the murder happened in February, and Sanders has been wanted by the Cleveland Police Department. Officers received a tip that Sanders had been staying in the Robson area for more than a month.

Several law enforcement agencies helped out in Sanders’ arrest.
