Langley DHENDERSON, Ky. (8/9/18) — A Henderson man was charged Wednesday in connection to an armed robbery investigation at Downtown Motel in Henderson.

Henderson Police Department reported its officers, Evansville police, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Indiana State Police assigned to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located the wanted man, identified as 20-year-old Demontre A. Lanley. He was picked up in Evansville, Indiana.

The warrant stemmed from a July 25 armed robbery investigation.

Langley allegedly held an individual at gunpoint and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the HPD report. He was charged with first-degree robbery.

Langley was being held in Vanderburgh County Jail today, awaiting extradition to Henderson.
